The Play Pocket

We absolutely love the play pocket, my kids love the imaginative play and it's always my daughter's number one choice for an activity. The food options are great and the coffees, even better! I was delighted when it opened as we live in Heathy Wood so it's practically the only walkable kids activity for us, which I much prefer over driving them everywhere. Couldn't recommend more!

The play pocket is a great asset to Forge Wood especially for families! It’s the perfect location with the playground right next to it. The play pocket provides a great morning/afternoon out with a great range of roleplay opportunities. It’s a chance to meet other families from the area and make friends. The food is delicious and there is a great variety for both adults and children. We love it at the Play Pocket, if you haven’t visited it’s a must!!

We've visited The Play Pocket a good few times now and even attended a birthday party there. My toddler loves the free-flowing role-play set ups and the food/drinks are good value and tasty. The open plan set up is great for building our toddlers confidence to go off and play by herself or with other little ones. And there's plenty of free parking and a little playground right outside!

The play pocket is such a fantastic addition to Forge Wood. It’s so lovely to have this available as the little ones love it and I find it so much more educational for them than just going to a soft play as they get to really use their imagination. It’s such a great way to get out of the house and a safe space for the little ones to play whilst us mums can get some work done/do some life admin! Darcie is an incredible person! She’s so lovely, warm and inviting and makes you feel at home! The other staff are also so lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting the play pocket, you won’t regret it and it will become your local go to fun for your little ones!

This is a wonderful safe space well laid out for my 21 month old to explore independently while I can sit with my 2 month old, we have been a couple of times already and my toddler loved the messy play event Darcie put on recently. The coffee and food was also great and everything was very reasonably priced compared to other role play/soft play spaces. We'll definitely be returning and have already booked onto a special play pocket yoga event!

We absolutely loved our visits to The Play Pocket! It’s such a welcoming and thoughtfully designed space. My two little ones had the best time exploring the open play areas, and I really appreciated how clean and safe everything felt. The food was excellent (not always easy to find in soft play spots!) and the prices were exactly what we’d expect for a place that clearly puts care into every detail. We’ll definitely be back — a little gem for families and the community

The Play Pocket Crawley is a fantastic place to take my 2 year old & 3 month old baby. My toddler has the best time exploring the imaginative play areas, and because the play area is secure and easy to see from the seating, I am able to feed my baby without any stress, knowing my toddler is safe and happily playing. The whole space is clean, thoughtfully laid out, and very welcoming. A special mention to Darcie, who runs it—she’s so friendly and helpful, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for families. Highly recommend for a calm, fun outing with both a toddler and a baby. We’ll definitely be back!

We LOVE the play pocket. It’s a perfect activity to do with my 1 year old, the food is incredible and the staff are so lovely. Everything (including toys and play areas) are spotless and very well maintained. It’s very affordable with parents going free - a really really great initiative. Thank you for having us play pocket - we’ll be back VERY soon
